IMPORTANT BATTERY INFORMATION
Recharging the baeries Switch the energizer o. Place in direct sunlight for
3 days (make sure the baeries are connected) OR
remove the baeries from the energizer and charge
the baeries for 24 hours with a 12 V 1.2 A baery
charger in a sheltered, well-venlated area.
Storing the energizer Switch the energizer o. Store in a well lit,
sheltered, well-venlated area so solar panel keeps
baeries charged. Recharge baeries before and
aer storage.
Maintenance free
baeries
The baeries must not be opened and do not
require maintenance.
Baery replacement BOTH BATTERIES MUST BE REPLACED TOGETHER
using 2 x 12V sealed, valve regulated rechargeable
baeries.
Recommended baeries:
Panasonic LC-RN127R2, Panasonic LC-R127R2, CSB
HITACHI EVX1272, YUASA REW45-12 or equivalent.
Do not use the energizer with non-rechargeable
baeries.
Removing the baeries Switch the energizer o before removing the
baeries.
Disposing the energizer The baeries must be removed from the energizer
before the energizer is disposed.
Disposing of the
baeries
All lead acid baeries must be disposed of safely
according to local regulaons. Use suitable
protecve clothing and containers for any leaking
baeries.
