SPIKED TOOL CHAINS
The peaks are constituted by a printed steel body
with a high carbon content to which extremely hard
sintered metal is inserted on the tip, in this way a to-
ol is obtained with extraordinary qualities of strength
and durability, even under the heaviest conditions.
They are deal on very dry and/or stony terrains.
They ensure good performance and have an excel-
lent capacity for opening the excavation area even
in the presence of stones.
4.6 AFTER USE
After use, place the machine on a flat surface, under
cover and perform thorough cleaning.
A machine that is well-cleaned and well maintained
will always give the maximum yield.
If a long period of standstill is foreseen, then the ma-
chine should be cleaned thoroughly and lubricated,
it should then be protected with a waterproof sheet,
so as to prevent the passage of dust and moisture.
Protect all unpainted parts with lubricant, then cover
it with a sheet of plastic and put it in a dry environ-
ment, protected from the elements.
If the machine is stored in an unattended environ-
ment, the user must ensure that it is not subject to
shock, or tampering.
Upon its reinstatement, a careful preliminary exami-
nation of its integrity needs to be undertaken by spe-
cialized personnel.
If these operations are carried out thoroughly,
those using the machine successively will be a-
dvantaged.
