Loading MapSource
Waypoints on Your
Navus 2
Using MapSource, you can save
locations (also called waypoints) and
transfer them to your Navus 2. For more
information about creating waypoints in
MapSource,seetheHelple(pressF1
toopentheHelple).
After you have created the waypoints,
select File > Save. Select GPS
eXchange Format (*.gpx) for the Save
as Type. Click the Save button.
With your Navus 2 connected to your
computer,copythe*.gpxleintothe
Garmin\gpx folder in the “Garmin”
drive. The waypoints you created in
MapSource are now in Where to
> Favorites.
Viewing Your Saved
Locations in MapSource
You can also view the locations you have
saved in your Navus 2 using MapSource.
In MapSource, select File > Open.
Select GPS eXchange Format (*.gpx)
for Files of Type.Browsetondthe
Garmin\gpx folder on your “Garmin”
drive. Select Current.gpx, and click
Open.
