Why is my Garrett AT Pro INTERNATIONAL Metal Detector not finding specific targets?
    • M
      Marvin ThompsonJul 29, 2025
If your Garrett Metal Detector isn’t finding specific targets, ensure you are using the correct mode for the type of hunting you are doing. If you are specifically hunting for coins, the COINS mode is best for eliminating undesirable targets. Alternatively, use the ZERO mode, which detects all metal targets.

What to do if my Garrett Metal Detector has erratic sounds?
    • H
      hansenjaredAug 6, 2025
If your Garrett Metal Detector is producing erratic sounds, it could be due to excessive electrical interference or metal in floors and walls. Ensure your searchcoil is securely connected with the O-ring properly sealed and the coil cable is snugly wound around the stem. Also, check if you are near other metal detectors, power lines, wire fences, or benches. You may need to adjust the frequency or reduce the sensitivity setting.

      Lindsey MorganAug 12, 2025

What to do if Garrett AT Pro INTERNATIONAL target ID cursor bounces?
    • K
      Katherine WilliamsAug 20, 2025
If the Target ID Cursor on your Garrett Metal Detector bounces, it might be due to an iron target, a non-parallel good target (like a coin), or junk targets near the good target. Try scanning from different directions until the Target ID Cursor becomes more stable. Also, large, flat pieces of iron can sometimes read as a good target, so use the Iron Audio feature to help identify such targets.
