Adjusting the volume in Windows Me,
Windows 2000, and Windows 98
You can use the volume controls to adjust the overall volume and the volume
of specific sound devices in your computer.
To adjust overall volume level:
■ On the keyboard, press the volume system key combination FN+ or
F
N+ to change the volume, or press the mute system key combination
F
N+ to turn off all sound.
- OR -
Click the speaker icon on the taskbar, then drag the slider to change the
volume or click to select the
Mute check box.
