Starting a case using default settings
Case Defaults contain ve case type selections. Each case type has preset values for Ideal Weight, Age, and
Volume Apnea Alarm. The rst four default case types are congured and named by the Super User. The fth
default case is Last Case.
1. Set the Bag/Vent switch to Bag.
2. Select Start Case.
• The Case Defaults selection shows the rst preset case type
• Ideal Weight, Age, CO2 Alarms, and Volume Apnea Alarm show the default settings that correspond to
the case type shown
3. Verify or change the Case Defaults selected.
4. Verify the settings are clinically appropriate.
5. Select Start Case Now. Gas ow starts.
