Spirometry setup
Select Setup Loops from the Spirometry menu
to access the Setup loops menu.
1. Spirometry Scaling: Set the scales of the
spirometry loop graph. The available
settings for the volume, Paw, and ow
graph axis are dependent on the set
patient type of adult or pediatric.
• Auto: automatically adjusts the
volume, Paw, and ow axis of the loop.
• Linked: links the adjustment of the
volume, Paw, and ow axis of the loop
graph together.
• Indep. allows the axis of the loop
graph to be changed separately for
the volume, Paw, and ow axis.
2. Patient and Sensor: Select Adult or Pedi
depending on the sensor used.
3. Data Source: Select Patient to have
spirometry data sourced from the airway
module or Vent to have spirometry data
sourced from the ventilator.
4. Show MV or TV: Set to TV to show TVinsp
and TVexp on the spirometry split screen.
Set to MV to show MVinsp and MVexp on
the spirometry split screen.
