Care and cleaning of the range,
Oven Heating Elements
Donot clean the bakeelement or the broil
element. Anysoilwill burn off when the
elements ore heated.
Tocleon the oven floor, gently lift the bake
element. Cleonwith worm soapy water.
Onsome models, the bake element is not
exposedand is under the oven floor. If
spillovers,residue or ash accumulate on the
ovenfloor, wipe up before self-cleaning.
Oven Racks
Cleanthe oven racks with an abrasive cleanser
or scouring pad.After cleaning, rinsethe racks
with clean water and dry with a clean cloth.
NOTE:Takethe racks out of the oven before
you begin the self-clean cycle or they may
discolor.
To make the racks slide more easily,apply a
small amount of vegetable oil or cooking oil to
a paper towel and wipe the edgesof the oven
rackswith the paper towel.

Oven Light Replacement (onsome models)
A CAUTlON: Beforereplacingyour
ovenlight bulb,turn the ovenlight off and
disconnect the electrical power to the range at
the main fuse or circuit breaker panel.
Be sure to let the light cover and bulb cool
completely.
Toremove the cover:
[Z] Holda hand under the cover so it doesn't
fall when released.With fingers of the
same hand,firmly push back the wire
cover holder.Lift off the cover.
Donot remove any screws to remove the
COVer.
r_ Replacebulb with a 40-watt household
appliance bulb.
Toreplace the coven
[] Placeit into groove of the light receptacle.
Pullwire forward to the center of the cover
until it snaps into place.
F_ Connectelectrical power to the range.
For models JBS27DIand JBS27ShReplace
oven lamp with 240 volts lamp only.

Clean under the range.
Storage Drawer Removal (onsome models)
Toremove the storage drawer',
[Z] Pullthe drawer out all the way.
[] Tilt up the front and remove it.
To replace the storage drawer'.
[_ Insert glides at the back of the drawer
beyond the stop on range glides.
[_ Liftthe drawer if necessary to insert easily.
Let the front of the drawer down, then
[_ push in to close.
