The radiant cooktop features heating units
beneath a smooth gloss surface.
NOTE:A slight odor is normal when a new
cooktop isusedfor the first time.It is caused
by theheating of new parts and insulating
materials and will disappear in a short time.
Thesurface unit will cycle on and off to
maintain your selectedcontrol setting.
It issafe to place hot cookwore from the oven
or surface on the gloss surface when the
surface is cool.
Evenafter the surface units ore turned off, the
gloss cooktop retains enough heat to continue
cooking.Toovoid over-cooking, remove pans
from the surface units when the food is cooked.
Avoid placing anything on the surface unit
until it has cooled completely.
Water stains (mineraldeposits)are removable
using thecleaning cream or
full-strength white vinegar.
Useof window cleaner may leave an
iridescentfilm on the cooktop. Thecleaning
cream will remove this discoloration.
