Semiautomatic Defibrillation
34 Marquette Responder® 3000 227 490 02-C
Note
-
Immediately after selecting "Autoseq", the
charge sequence restarts with the lowest en-
ergy level. There is no time limit for the Auto-
sequence shocks. The Autosequence can only
be interrupted by activation of the energy se-
lector.
The energy level selected for the 3rd shock is
maintained for all subsequent shocks.
-
If the shock is not delivered within 30 seconds
of charging, an automatic internal safety dis-
charge will be initiated. In this case you must
press the
Analyse
button again.
Note
If the analysis algorithm does not recommend a
defibrillation, even though the patient is suspected
to suffer from a shockable arrhythmia, press
again. If possible, apply ECG electrodes to acquire
the ECG.
Also the device can be switched to manual defi-
brillation by authorized personnel.
