Why don't the clock and timer work on my GE PB935 Ranges?
    • G
      Gavin SmithAug 30, 2025
If the clock and timer on your GE Ranges do not work, a fuse in your home may be blown or the circuit breaker tripped. Replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker. Also, ensure the plug on the range is completely inserted in the electrical outlet and that oven controls are properly set. See the Oven controls section.

What does “F— and a number or letter” flashing in the display of my GE PB935 mean?
    • V
      Victor HurstSep 6, 2025
If you see “F— and a number or letter” flashing in the display of your GE Ranges, it indicates a function error code. Press the Cancel/Off pad, allow the oven to cool for one hour, and then put the oven back into operation. If the function code repeats, disconnect all power to the oven for at least 30 seconds and then reconnect power. If the function error code continues, call for service.

Why won’t the storage drawer close on my GE Ranges?
    • J
      Jeffrey RichardsSep 7, 2025
If the storage drawer on your GE Ranges won’t close, the power cord may be obstructing the drawer in the lower back of the range. Reposition the drawer and power cord. See the Storage Drawer Removal Instructions in the Care and cleaning of the range section. Also, the rear drawer support may be on top of the guide rail. Reposition the drawer. See the Storage Drawer Removal instructions in the Care and cleaning of the range section. Finally, the soft close mechanism may be uncoupled from the drawer. Why does my GE Ranges oven door glass appear to be "tinted" or have a "rainbow" color?
    • K
      Kristen HobbsSep 12, 2025
If your GE Ranges oven door glass appears to be "tinted" or have a "rainbow" color, this is normal. The inner oven glass is coated with a heat barrier to reflect the heat back into the oven to prevent heat loss and keep the outer door cool while baking. Under certain light or angles, you may see this tint or rainbow color.

Why are there areas of discoloration on my GE PB935 cooktop?
    • S
      Sydney RoblesSep 23, 2025
Areas of discoloration on your GE Ranges cooktop can be caused by food spillovers not cleaned before the next use. See the Cleaning the glass cooktop section. It can also be caused by a hot surface on a model with a light-colored cooktop, which is normal. The surface may appear discolored when it is hot, but this is temporary and will disappear as the glass cools.

What to do if my GE Ranges oven is not clean after a clean cycle?
    • V
      victoria52Aug 26, 2025
If your GE Ranges oven is not clean after running a clean cycle, this may be because the oven controls were improperly set. See the Cleaning the Oven section for guidance. Another cause may be that the oven was heavily soiled. Clean up heavy spillovers before starting the clean cycle. Heavily soiled ovens may need to self-clean again or for a longer period of time.
