      Gavin SmithAug 30, 2025
If the clock and timer on your GE Ranges do not work, a fuse in your home may be blown or the circuit breaker tripped. Replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker. Also, ensure the plug on the range is completely inserted in the electrical outlet and that oven controls are properly set. See the Oven controls section.

      Ashley Stanley MDSep 12, 2025
If your new GE Ranges oven doesn't cook like your old one, it's because your new oven has a different cooking system and may cook differently. For the first few uses, follow your recipe times and temperatures carefully. If you still think your new oven is too hot or too cold, you can adjust the temperature yourself to meet your specific cooking preference. See the Special Features section.

If your GE Ranges oven is not clean after running a clean cycle, this may be because the oven controls were improperly set. See the Cleaning the Oven section for guidance. Another cause may be that the oven was heavily soiled. Clean up heavy spillovers before starting the clean cycle. Heavily soiled ovens may need to self-clean again or for a longer period of time.
