Vacuum operation
The table below gives the steps of the vacuum operation with nitrogen purging
(N
2
):

1 Carry out a simple vacuum
operation.
 1 mbar (100 Pa)
during 1 hour.
2 Remove the valve cap (5) of the
filling tool (4).

3 S Open the nitrogen (N
2
) bottle
tap (9).
S Open and close the cock (11)
of the pressure reducer to
eliminate any air inside the tube
(12) (approx. 3 s at low
flow- rate).
S Close the nitrogen (N
2
) bottle
tap (9).

4 Connect the tube (12) to the filling
tool (4).

5 Open the nitrogen (N
2
) bottle tap
(9) and adjust gas output by act-
ing on the cock (11) of the pres-
sure reducer (reduced flow rate).
S Close the tap (9) from time to
time to check pressure on the
gauge (13).
S Start filling again until the
required pressure about
0.03 MPa is reached.
S Close in this order : the tap (9),
then the cock (11).
