Overview
4-1-1 Purpose of Chapter 4
This chapter includes the General Procedures, and the Functional Checks.
General Procedures is a collection of commonly-used procedures that are available by cross references
from other parts of this manual.
Functional Checks is a collection of procedures for quickly checking major functions of the ultrasound
system and diagnostic instructions using the built-in service software. These checks can be a great
asset in determining whether the ultrasound system is working as it should.

• ECG Pads
• ECG Harness:
• CABLE ECG MARQ. AHA/AMERICA, P/N:164L0025
• LEADWIRES ECG MARQ. AHA/AMERICA, P/N: 164L0027
or
• CABLE ECG MARQ. IEC/EU+AS, P/N:164L0026
• LEADWIRES ECG MARQ. IEC/EU+AS, P/N:164L0028
• At least one probe (ideally you should check all the site probes used by the system.)
