6. Einbau
Vor Einbau der Ventile sind Rohrleitungen und
Anlagenteile zu säubern.
Bitte beachten!
Die Abweichung von der Parallelität bzw.
Rechtwinkligkeit der Anschweißenden bzw.
Flanschdichtflächen darf 1° nicht überschreiten.
Anschlussflansche müssen achsengleich sein.
Ventile mit Transport- und Lagerschäden dürfen nicht
eingebaut werden.
Nach dem Entfernen der Rohrstopfen können die
Ventile eingeschweißt bzw. montiert werden.
Die Durchflussrichtung (siehe Pfeil auf Kenn-
zeichenschild) ist einzuhalten.
Bei Anwendung moderner Schweißverfahren
(z. B. WIG, CO
2
) werden die Ventile zum
Einschweißen nicht demontiert.
Die Befestigungsschrauben und Muttern der Flansche
sind über Kreuz und gleichmäßig anzuziehen.
Beim Abblasen in die Atmosphäre sind die
Abblasrohre möglichst kurz zu halten und dürfen keine
scharfen Krümmer aufweisen. Der Biegeradius muss
mindestens 3 x RAØ (Rohraußendurchmesser)
betragen.
Beim Füllen der Öl- bzw. Wasservorlage ist darauf zu
achten, dass kein Öl bzw. Wasser in die
Sicherheitsventile gelangt.
Absperreinrichtungen vor und hinter dem
Sicherheitsventil sind unzulässig, ausgenommen
Wechselventile.
Zur Demontage der Haube ist genügend Platz auf der
Haubenseite vorzusehen (siehe folgende Tabelle).
7. Wartung
AWP Sicherheitsventile arbeiten wartungsfrei. Treten
Mängel im Funktionsverhalten auf, ist eine Reparatur
möglich. Während der Garantiezeit dürfen
Reparaturen nur durch AWP bzw. mit dessen
Einverständnis durch geschultes
Instandhaltungspersonal des Betreibers der
Anlage vorgenommen werden.
AWP empfiehlt, Sicherheitsventile alle 5 Jahre zu
überprüfen.
Nach jedem Ansprechvorgang (Havariefall) ist der
Einstelldruck [pe] und die Dichtheit am Sitz zu
kontrollieren.
! Ventile nur im ausgebauten Zustand warten!
! Sicherheitshinweise beachten (siehe Kapitel 3)!
6. Installation
Before installing the valves, the pipelines and the
components have to be cleaned.
Please note!
The welding or flanged ends on the pipes that the
valves are connected to have to be parallel, resp.
rectangular. If there is a deviation it may not exceed
1°. The connecting flanges have to be coaxial.
Valves that have been damaged during transport or
storage may not be installed.
After the protective caps have been removed, the
valves can be welded, resp. installed.
The flow direction (see arrow on name plate) has
to be observed.
When modern welding processes are used (such as
TIG, CO
2
-shielded metal-arc) the valves do not have
to be disassembled for welding.
The fastening bolts and nuts have to be tightened
crosswise and evenly.
The pipes for blowing off the pressure into the
atmosphere should be as short as possible and may
not have any sharp bends. The bending radius must
be at least 3 x RAØ (outside diameter of the pipe).
When filling oil or water into the recipient make sure
that no water or oil gets into the safety valves.
Installing locking devices before or behind safety
valves is not permitted, except 3-way valves.
To disassemble the valve bonnet enough space has to
be provided on the side of the bonnet (see following
table).
7. Maintenance
AWP safety valves are maintenance-free.
In case of any defects that occur in the functional
performance of the valves, they can be repaired.
During the warranty period, repairs may only be
carried out by AWP or with his consent - by specially-
trained maintenance personnel working for the plant
operator.
AWP recommends to check the safety valves every
five years.
After every response action (case of average) the test
pressure [pe] and the tightness at the valve seat must
be verified.
! Maintenance work may only be done when the
valve has been detached from the system!
! Safety instructions have to be followed (see
chapter 3)!
