Note: It may be necessary to move the handle
supports from side to side in order to align the handle
so it will slide over the handle supports.
Insert the carriage bolts through the holes on the
handle and attach the plastic knobs. Tighten the
knobs by hand (Figure 3).
Insert the wire support with the longer arm
positioned on the left. From this view (from rear of
unit), the hook should resemble a J

Add Engine Oil
IMPORTANT: Any attempt to start the engine before it
has been properly serviced with the recommended oil
may result in an engine failure.
Note: When adding oil to the engine crankcase, use
only high quality detergent oil rated with API service
classification SF,SG, SH or rated SAE 30 weight.
Select the oils viscosity grade according to your
expected operating temperature. Do Not Use SAE
10W40 Oil.
Although multi-viscosity oils (5W30, 10W30, etc.)
improve starting in cold weather, these multi-viscosity
oils will result in increased oil consumption when used
above 32°F. Check your engine oil level more
frequently to avoid possible damage from running low
on oil.
Place pressure washer on a level surface.
Clean area around yellow oil fill and remove oil
fill cap (Figure 5). Do not use grey cap to add or
check oil.
Pour oil into oil fill opening until the oil reaches
the point of overflowing. Stop occasionally to
check oil level. Do not overfill.
Install oil fill cap, hand tighten securely.
Note: Check oil often during engine breakin.
Add Gasoline
DANGER! Never fill fuel tank indoors. Never
fill fuel tank when engine is running or hot. Do
not smoke when filling fuel tank.
WARNING! Never fill fuel tank completely
full. Fill tank to about 1/2" below the bottom of
the filler neck to provide space for fuel
expansion. Wipe away any fuel spillage from
engine and equipment before starting.
DANGER! Allow engine to cool 2 minutes
before refueling.
