Section 3: Getting Connected
Connecting to Wi-Fi Networks
Connecting to New Wi-Fi Network
1. Install the Mobile Link Wi-Fi/Ethernet
accessory.
2. The Mobile Link Wi-Fi/Ethernet accessory
will be immediately ready to connect after
the accessory is powered on.
3. Download Mobile Link Setup App on
Google Play or Apple Apps Store, if not
already installed.
4. Open Mobile Link Setup App and follow
guided instructions provided in the app.
NOTE: If existing connected network is no
longer available, device will immediately
return to ready-to-connect state. Follow
steps 3 and 4 to connect to a new network.
Connecting to New Wi-Fi Network
While Connected to Existing Network
1. Device must be powered off and powered
on to return to a ready-to-connect state
when still connected to an existing
network.
2. Unplug harness from device pigtail
attachment. Reattach harness to device
pigtail attachment.
3. Device will enter a ready-to-connect
state for 30 minutes after power is
restored to the device.
IMPORTANT NOTE: After 30 minutes, the
device is no longer in a ready-to-connect
state. The procedure above must be
repeated to put device in ready-to-
connect state.
4. Download Mobile Link Setup App on
Google Play or Apple Apps Store, if not
already installed.
5. Open Mobile Link Setup App and follow
guided instructions provided in the app.
Disconnecting From Wi-Fi
Network
The Mobile Link Wi-Fi/Ethernet accessory
must be powered off to remove it from a Wi-Fi
network.
NOTE: Stored Wi-Fi network information
cannot be removed from the device without
being replaced with new information. The
device must be powered down and remain
powered down to prevent the device from
reconnecting to a known network, until such
time reconnection is desired.
