GENERAL TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION.
Application: All 200 Series models.
When transporting the Hole Digger in/on a motor
vehicle, the gasoline tank breather vent (if so
equipped) must be completely closed to eliminate the
accidental seepage of fuel and resulting potential fire
hazard. In order to minimize the possibility of damage
to the Hole Digger, always transport it to the job site
with the auger disconnected. All equipment must be
secured in/on vehicles with suitable strapping or tie
downs. Personnel should not be transported in the
same compartment as equipment and fuel supplies.
Consult applicable OSHA regulations for specific
information.
An improperly secured Hole Digger and related
accessories can fall from a moving vehicle and
result in property damage and/or personal injury.
