Lid
Lock
Close the lid and pull the handle (1)
clockwise to lock.
Opening
Release the locking mechanism by pulling
the knob (2)
Move the handle (1) anticlockwise to the
end position. Open the lid
Lid safety device
The lid has three different locking devices,
each independently of each other. The lid is
latched mechanically when it is rotated to its
locked position
1: The door is wedged between the chamber
bayonet ring and the lid gasket
2: The door locking position is locked by
means of a spring-loaded locking pin (2)
which stops the door from sliding back into
open position.
3: A microswitch verifies that the lid is in its
locked position. The microswitch interlocks
the process from being started if the lid is out
of position.
