PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
General
The manufacturer recommends at full utilization of ca-
pacity that at least the following maintenance opera-
tions should be performed at the specified intervals by
service technicians. Monthly and weekly maintenance
is carried out by the operator as set out in the user
manual.
At the end of each day
Shutoff the incoming water supply
The sterilizer can be left with the electric power
supply connected.
Check that the overheating protection sensor is fit-
ted on the heating element, see fig. 1.
Check that the level guard in the bottom of the
chamber is clean, move the rocker arm up and
down, see fig. 3.
Monthly maintenance
MONTHLY, OR AS REQUIRED
Clean the bottom screen. Pull apart the holder
and lift out the screen. Se fig. 2 Clean.
Clean the chamber with a damp cotton cloth.
Close and lock the door when finished. Any water
is then drained from the chamber.
Clean the door gasket and lubricate with the
grease recommended by Getinge.
Annual maintenance
OR AT LEAST EVERY 400 CYCLES UNLESS OTH-
ERWISE STATED.
Contact service to carry out
WARNING!
The outer casing may only be
removed by technicians with
documented experience.
Bear in mind when cleaning that
the chamber and the area close to
the chamber entrance is very
warm.
