Upgrading to BRCM2.x
New Installation with D-Box Boards (For PA0435 Models)
To perform new installation with D-Box boards, proceed as follows:
1 Remove the single screw securing the lid of the BRCM2.x.
2 Mount the BRCM2.x on the wall and route the conduit and wiring to the knockouts located on
the bottom of the D-Box chassis.
Note: This is based on the site-configurat
ion-specific BRCM2.x connections
(For more information, refer to “Appendix A: BRCM2.x Communication Diagram” on
page 35 for BRCM2.x connections).
3 Temporarily hang the lid assembly onto the tabs on the lip of the chassis.

4 Disconnect the power cable, two-wire input cables, and CCP/HCM cable from the distribution
board. Remove the field wiring tray, initially tilting it out.
5 Configure D-Box jumpers as necessary. For more information, refer to
“Appendix B: Configuring Distribution Boards” on page 40.
6 Remove the field wiring connector assemblies from the D-Box board. Insert the field wires
coming out of conduit inside the BRM2 box through knockouts. Connect field wires to the
connector assemblies. Ensure that proper dispenser numbering is followed.
7 Insert the field wiring tray inside the D-Box board. Connect the HCM cable to P400. Connect
the power (P416) and 2 wire input cables (P102A & P102B). If RS422 inputs are used, then
the corresponding connectors are P103A & P103B.
