Refuelling (02_01, 02_02)
Fill fuel tank «A» as shown in the figure with unleaded gasoline with minimum octane
rating 95. The rider is informed when fuel is low by the fuel warning light on the in-
strument panel; see section "The dashboard". Fill the oil tank «B» using the recom-
mended oil.
The minimum oil level is shown by the oil warning light on the instrument panel; see
section "The dashboard".
If the above warning light turns on, upon the first refuel and in any case not exceeding
150 km travel, top up the oil tank with at least 0.5÷0.7 lt. Every time the engine is
started (electrically), the mixer oil reserve warning light must turn on and off when the
«P» starter button is released (section "Start-up button"). If the warning light fails to
illuminate, it is faulty. In this case, turn to an Authorized Piaggio Service Centre.
Drainage is required in case of removal and reassembly of the "mixer" device. How-
ever, the ducts can remain without oil. After these operations, refill the fuel tank with
3 lt. mixture at 2% of recommended oil. The next refills must be performed using fuel
only.
