Headlightadjustment (03_13, 03_14, 03_15)
Set the motorscooter with driver on level ground at a distance of 10 m. from a white
screen in semi-darkness. Make sure the vehicle axis is at right angles to the screen.
Mark the screen with a horizontal line 65-67 cm. from the ground. Start the engine
with the throttle fully rotated clockwise in the idle position so that the scooter does not
move. Switch on the headlight lower beam and position it so that the boundary be-
tween the brightly illuminated area and the surrounding area is no higher than the line
you have drawn. The headlight position is adjusted by means of a screw, to access it
you must remove the cover on the countershield at the height of the clip. Then turn
screws "A" as shown in figure. Adjust the headlight by using a phillips screwdriver on
screws "B" as shown in figure.
Before adjusting the headlight angle, make sure the tires are inflated to the specified
pressure (see section Tyres).
