Why is there residue leaking from the hub of my Globe SP05 Mixer?
    • V
      Victoria StewartSep 13, 2025
Residue leaking from the hub is caused by a contaminated hub due to build-up of meat and/or vegetable juices (especially tomatoes). To avoid this problem, always wipe the hub and dry it after each use. Note that acid from tomato juices will corrode/contaminate interior parts, so avoid mixing tomatoes in a meat grinder!

What to do if my Globe SP05 stops during mixing?
    • A
      Amy BrownAug 25, 2025
If your Globe Mixer stops during mixing, it could be due to a few reasons. First, the internal overload might have tripped. For SP25 and smaller models, press the stop button, then the reset button. For larger models, wait two minutes, press the stop button, then the start button. If the overload continues to trip, consider reducing the batch size or adjusting the recipe. Another cause could be a damaged or broken transmission belt, in which case you should contact a technician to replace the belt, applicable for SP25 and larger models. Lastly, if you have an SP80PL model, ensure you're not changing speeds during mixing; return the speed control lever to a speed model position and restart the mixer.
