      If the Gold's Gym Treadmill power does not turn on, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor, and the surge suppressor is plugged into a grounded outlet. If connected to an AFCI outlet and the circuit breaker trips, consider purchasing an arc filter. Also, check that the key is inserted into the console. Finally, if the power switch has tripped (protrudes), wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset it.

      If the Gold's Gym Treadmill walking belt slips or is off-center, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt is off-center to the left, turn the left idler roller screw clockwise 1/2 turn. If it's off-center to the right, turn the left idler roller screw counterclockwise 1/2 turn. If the belt slips, turn both idler roller screws clockwise 1/4 turn.

      If the Gold's Gym Treadmill walking belt slows when walked on, and the walking belt is overtightened, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Using the hex key, turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn. If you suspect that the walking belt needs more lubricant, see the front cover of this manual. If the walking belt still slows when walked on, see the front cover of this manual.

      If the Gold's Gym Treadmill power turns off during use, check the power switch. Ensure the power cord is plugged in; if so, unplug it, wait five minutes, then plug it back in. Also, remove and reinsert the key from the console. If it still won't run, please consult the front cover of this manual.

      If the displays of the Gold's Gym Treadmill console do not function properly, try resetting the console to the factory default settings. Continue holding the reset button until the console turns on. If this doesn't work, use the power switch to turn the incline trainer off and then on again.
