ATTENTION INSTALLING PERSONNEL
As a professional installer you have an obligation to know the product better than the customer. This includes all
safety precautions and related items.
Prior to actual installation, thoroughly familiarize yourself with this Instruction Manual. Pay special attention to all
safety warnings. Often during installation or repair it is possible to place yourself in a position which is more
hazardous than when the unit is in operation.
Remember, it is your responsibility to install the product safely and to know it well enough to be able to instruct a
customer in its safe use.
Safety is a matter of common sense...a matter of thinking before acting. Most dealers have a list of specific good
safety practices...follow them.
The precautions listed in this Installation Manual are intended as supplemental to existing practices. However, if
there is a direct conflict between existing practices and the content of this manual, the precautions listed here
take precedence.
RECOGNIZE THIS SYMBOL AS A SAFETY PRECAUTION.

What to do if my Goodman CVC9/95 Furnace has no power?
    • R
      Ryan PowellAug 12, 2025
If your Goodman furnace has no power, check the fuses and circuit breakers and replace or reset them as needed. Replace any blown fuses. Inspect the low voltage wiring in the furnace or system for shorts. Reset the network by pressing the learn button. Also, check the Data 1 and Data 2 voltages. This could be due to no power or a communications error.

What to do if my Goodman Furnace says no network found?
    • A
      Ashley LewisAug 27, 2025
If your Goodman furnace displays 'No network found', check the communications wiring (Data 1 and Data 2 wires) and wire connections at the terminal block. Verify the furnace installation type (legacy/traditional or communicating) and check the Data 1 and Data 2 voltages. This problem may occur if data wires are broken or disconnected, or if the furnace is installed as a legacy/traditional system.

Why does my Goodman CVC9/95 show a Data 1/ Data 2 miss-wire error?
    • D
      Dominic DiazSep 4, 2025
A Data 1/Data 2 miss-wire error on your Goodman furnace can occur if the Data 1 and Data 2 wires are reversed at the furnace, thermostat, or CT™ compatible outdoor AC/HP. It can also be caused by a short between the Data 1 and Data 2 wires, or a short between Data 1 or Data 2 wires and R (24VAC) or C (24VAC common). To resolve this, check the communications wiring (Data 1/Data 2 wires) and wire connections at the terminal block, and check the Data 1/Data 2 voltages.
