Whenrstlearningtheeffectsoftheblaster,geta
betterunderstandingoftheresultsbystartingata
shallowangle(closerto0°thanto90°)andkeep
thenozzleapproximately16in.(40cm)fromthe
application.Observetheresults,thenreducethe
distance,steepentheangle,andadjusttheblast
regulator.
Astheblastpressureisincreased,slowlyadjustthe
abrasivemeteringvalveandwatchtheDataTrak
toachieve7-10pumpcyclesperminute.See

hoseonthegroundequalto10-20%oftheheight.
Thehoseonthegroundpreventsunspentabrasive
inthehosefromback-llingtheinternalplumbingof
thepanel.
Forexample:Whenblasting50feet(15m)straight
up,useatleast10feet(3m)ofblasthoseonthe
groundbeforetheblasthosegoesuptotheblasting
height.
