Must purchase Switch Tip spray tip separately.
WARNING
Pressure Relief Procedure
To reduce the risk of fluid injection or splashing in the eyes or on
the skin, completely relieve air and fluid pressure before installing,
cleaning or changing tips. To relieve pressure:
Shut off power to pump, hold metal part of gun firmly to side of
grounded metal pail, and trigger gun to relieve pressure. ENGAGE
TRIGGER SAFETY LATCH. Open any fluid drain valves. If you susĆ
pect pressure is not fully relieved, slowly loosen tip guard retaining
nut and relieve pressure gradually.
WARNING
Failure to install or use the PS RAC tip guard assembly correctly
may result in an undirected spray of paint into the eyes or on the
skin of the operator. Be sure you:
Use the appropriate gasket for the solvent
used (see the other side of this sheet).
Fully insert the SwitchTip spray tip into the guard.
Fully tighten the guard onto the gun nozzle
using a wrench.
Turn the SwitchTip handle so it is parallel to
the gun nozzle. See Fig. 24.
When replacing a worn spray tip, always
install a new gasket and seat.
