What to do if my Graco Paint Sprayer motor does not run?
- AandersenstevenSep 12, 2025
If the power switch is on, the sprayer is plugged in, but the Graco Paint Sprayer motor isn't running and the pump isn't cycling, there are several potential causes. First, ensure the pressure isn't set to zero by turning the pressure control knob clockwise to increase the pressure setting. Another possibility is that the electric outlet isn't providing power; try a different outlet or test the outlet with a working device. Damaged extension or sprayer power cords can also be the culprit, so inspect and replace them if necessary. Lastly, paint or water may be frozen or hardened in the pump. If frozen, thaw it completely before use. If hardened, take the sprayer to a Graco/MAGNUM authorized service center for potential pump packings, valves, drivetrain, or pressure switch replacement.
