Backrest adjustment
Pull up the locking lever to release the backrest
catch. When releasing the backrest catch, do
not apply load to the backrest by pressing
against it.
By exerting pressure on or off the front or rear
part of the seat pan it can be moved to the
desired position. Release the locking lever to
lock the backrest.
It should not be possible to move the
backrest into another position after it has been
locked.
When the backrest is folded forward,
fluted metal locking devices on either side – left
and/or right – protrude from the bottom of the
backrest and, during the adjustment procedure,
can cause shearing and crushing of the body of
the person performing this task.
– DO NOT REACH INTO THIS DANGER
ZONE –
Internal safety system
If height or weight adjustment fails, the internal
protection system should be checked first.
The fuse is located in the upper rear at the seat
suspension underneath the cover (A).
To replace the fuse, the cover (A) must be
removed. Pull out bellows pins (B) and remove
the cover (A).
Pull out the defective fuse and replace it by a
new one.
Si 15 A: compressor, level control (height
adjustment, weight adjustment)
You can identify a blown fuse when its
wire has melted; a blown fuse must always be
replaced by a new one of the same colour and
with the same Ampe
re value.
ATTENTION! Damage!
Do not bridge blown fuses and do
not replace it by a fuse of different
colour or with a different Ampere
value. Otherwise, the driver's seat
might catch fire caused by
overloaded electric lines.
