INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Unpack the Air Conditioner
Remove packaging materials
Ŗ Remove and properly dispose of packaging
materials. Remove tape and glue residue from
surfaces before turning on the air conditioner.
Rub a small amount of liquid dish soap over the
adhesive with your fingers. Wipe with warm
water and dry.
Ŗ Do not use sharp instruments, rubbing alcohol, flammable fluids, or abrasive cleaners to
remove tape or glue. These products can damage the surface of your air conditioner.
Ŗ Handle air conditioner with care.

MPORTANT : DO NOT DRILL ANY HOLE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE UNIT OR WARRAN-
TY WILL BE VOID. WATER IS USED TO COOL DOWN HOT PARTS OF THE UNIT.
1-WINDOW REQUIREMENTS
Ŗ These instructions are for a standard double-hung window. You will need to modify them for
other types of windows.
Ŗ The air conditioner can be installed without the accordion panels if needed to fit in a narrow
window. See the window opening dimensions.
Ŗ All supporting parts must be secured to firm wood, masonry or metal.
Ŗ The electrical outlet must be within reach of the power cord.
Ŗ Follow the dimensions in the table and illustration for your model.

Use two or more people to move and

Failure to do so can result in back or
other injury.

Déballer le Climatiseur
Enlever le matériel d'emballage
Ŗ Enlevez et jetez à l'endroit approprié tout maté-
riel d'emballage. Enlevez le ruban et les résidus
de colle de la surface de l'appareil avant d'utiliser
le climatiseur. Frottez une petite quantité de
savon à vaisselle liquide du bout des doigts sur
les adhésifs. Essuyez avec un chiffon humide et
séchez.
Ŗ N'utilisez pas d'outils contondants, d'alcool à friction, de liquides inflammables ou de net-
toyants abrasifs pour enlever le ruban ou la colle. Ces produits peuvent endommager la
surface du climatiseur.
Ŗ Manipulez le climatiseur avec soin.

Ŗ Ces instructions s'appliquent aux fenêtres à guillotine à deux châssis mobiles de format
standard. Vous devrez les modifier pour d'autres types de fenêtres.
Ŗ Le climatiseur peut être installé sans les panneaux extensibles si la fenêtre est de bonne
dimension pour accueillir le climatiseur sans ceux-ci. Référez-vous aux dimensions de fenêtre
plus bas.
Ŗ Toutes les pièces de soutient doivent être solidement ancrées dans du bois massif, de la
maçonnerie ou du métal.
Ŗ La prise électrique doit être à portée du cordon d'alimentation.
Ŗ Repérez les bonnes dimensions dans le tableau suivant selon votre modèle de climatiseur.
