8. Remove the right
side panel
Remove the right side
panel away from the unit
Removal and Installation of Gas-liquid Separator and Compressor
Remark: Before removing the compressor, make sure that there is no refrigerant inside the pipe system and that the
power has been cut off.
Step Illustration Handling Instruction
1. Disconnect the
wiring of the
power supply of
the compressor
a. Open the cover of the
power supply box with a
wrench.
b. Disconnect the power
cord of the compressor
with the pliers
c. Pull out the power
supply plug of the
compressor
2. Loosen the
screws on the
compressor
Loosen the screws
between the
compressor and the
compressor base with a
wrench
3. Disconnect the
suction and
discharge pipes
of the
compressor
a. Dismantle the
gas-liquid separator
through heating its
inlet/outlet pipe by the
means of gas welding.
b. During the welding,
nitrogen should be
inflated and its pressure
should be 0.5±0.1kgf/c
㎡ (relative pressure)
c. Attention should be
taken during the heating
to avoid the surrounding
objects burnt due to the
high temperature.
