INSTALLATION
• Slide the retaining ring over the drum shaft.
• Slide the Bearing onto the shaft.
• Mount the bearing onto the mount bracket.
Weld the retaining ring into position to prevent axial float
NOTE: Bearing to have correct orientation as shown.
(bearing collar to be inside)

A SAFETY BRAKE MUST BE INSTALLED TO
PREVENT DOOR FROM FALLING IN THE EVENT
OF A MECHANICAL MALFUNCTION
• Insert the brake shaft key into the drum shaft.
• Slide the retaining ring over the drum shaft
• Slide the safety brake onto the drum shaft.
• Mount the safety brake onto the mount bracket
• Weld the retaining ring into position to prevent axial float
NOTE: BOLT TORQUE VALUES
Bolt Size Tightening Torque
M12 50 Nm
M16 70 Nm
M20 110 Nm
