12. ORDINARYADJUSTMENTS
12.1 SEATADJUSTMENT
Before starting work, it is recommended to position the seat in the most
comfortable position and with the most control over the machine. To
adjust the seat forwards or backwards, move sideways the lever on the
left-handsideoftheseat(g.16/8),thenmovetheseat.Toadjustthe
seat suspension, turn the knob clockwise to harden the springing, and
counter-clockwisetosoftenthespringing(g.16/9).Totiptheseat,pull
theleveronthebackofthebackrest(g.17).

12.2 CUTTINGHEIGHTADJUSTMENT
Toadjustthecuttingheightusethebutton(g.18/18),pressingitupwards
to raise it and downwards to lower it.

 IMPORTANT: during cutting, the cutting deck lifting lever
mustbekeptintheoating“FLOAT”position,movingitalltheway
forward(g.19/2).

In the event of uneven ground, dips or bumps, it is advisable to operate
the cutting deck in the highest cutting setting in order to avoid impact on
the blades. To this purpose, there are two anti-scalp wheels at the rear of
thecuttingdeck(g.20),theirheightabovethegroundcanbeadjustedin
threepositionsbymeansofthexingholestothecuttingdeck.
For correct use, set the height of the wheels at the closest position but not
in contact with the ground.
