FD450-TROUBLESHOOTINGGUIDE
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The blades do not engage
- Parking brake applied
- Faulty switch
- Defective clutch
- Defective full grass catcher microswitch
- Defective grass catcher position microswitch
- Grass catcher full or open
- Release the parking brake
- Check the PTO button
- Check the function and integrity of the clutch
- Check the fuses
- Check the operation and adjustment of the
microswitches
- Check the microswitch connectors

Never attempt to carry out major repairs without having the
necessarymeansandtechnicalexpertise.
IFYOUHITASTONEORANOTHERFOREIGNBODY:
1. Disengage the blades;
2. Lift the cutting deck;
3. Switch off the engine and apply the parking brake;
4. Check the bolts securing the blades and the integrity of the
cutting deck;
5. Check that the foreign body has not entered the loading chute
or is jammed.
