What to do if air passes directly through my Groz GP1 Water Pump and it doesn't work?

If air passes directly from the inlet to the outlet and your Groz Water Pump doesn't work, it could be due to a few reasons. The Nylon Slider (27) might be jammed or overtight; refer to Drive Section Kit Replacement - Page 8 to check the Clip (28) and tighten it, ensuring the Nylon Slider (27) moves freely. If necessary, replace the Nylon Slider (27), Paper Seal (24), Seat (25), and Slider Guide (26). Another cause could be damaged Seals or O-Rings; inspect all Seals and O-Rings and replace any damaged parts from the Repair Kit. Lastly, a chip or foreign particle might be clogging the discharge coupler. Open the coupler, remove any foreign particles or chips, and reassemble it properly.

If your Groz Water Pump continues to operate even after releasing the Grease Control Valve (68) trigger, there may be a leakage in the assembly. Check all connections to ensure they are airtight and use a thread sealant. Also, inspect O-rings and seals for damage and replace any defective parts from the Repair Kit.

If your Groz Water Pump is not working or has less discharge, there are a few potential causes. First, the inlet pressure may be too low; ensure it is at least 30 PSI (2 BAR). Secondly, the Nylon Slider (27) could be jammed or overtight. Refer to Drive Section Kit Replacement - Page 8 to check for any build-up edge on Clip (28) and tighten it again, ensuring the Nylon Slider (27) moves freely. If needed, replace the Nylon Slider (27), Paper Seal (24), Seat (25), and Slider Guide (26). Another possibility is that the Piston, Piston Rod, or Plunger is jammed. Refer to Pumping Section Kit Replacement - Page 6 to inspect components like the Extension Rod (46), Cylinder (51), Top Coupler (52), Slide Bush (53), and Piston Rod (55). Check for overlap or wear and tear, and replace any defective pa...
