3. Intended use
The product is suitable for pumping clean, thin, non-
aggressive, non-toxic and non-explosive liquids
without solid particles or fibres.
Examples of liquids:
potable water
rainwater.
4. Delivery
The following has been supplied:
RMQ rainwater unit
wall mounting bracket with screws and rawlplugs
float switch including 20 m of cable (only for RMQ
B)
level sensor, including 25 m of cable (only for
RMQ A)
fittings for pipe connection
installation and operating instructions.
Check that all parts are OK.
5. Product introduction
The RMQ rainwater unit is designed for the
monitoring and control of rainwater utilisation
systems. The unit detects faults in the rainwater
utilisation system and makes the necessary
adjustments to ensure that the system is operating.
RMQ also ensures that the system operates if the
rainwater collecting tank, such as an underground
tank, runs dry. The unit automatically ensures that
water is available at the points of consumption, such
as toilet and washing machine. The built-in three-
way valve switches between the mains-water hose
and the inlet hose from the collecting tank.
RMQ complies with EN 1717.
Application
RMQ can be used for the following applications:
the control of rainwater utilisation systems
as domestic waterworks for the utilisation of
rainwater
operation in single- and two-family households as
well as for small enterprises.
Observe these precautions in water supply systems:
Insert a plug in the inlet port. See fig. 1 (6).
Do not use a level sensor in the system.
Finish the startup procedure after section
9.1 Startup via mains-water supply.

set to "Only". Then
disconnect the power
supply. Make sure that
