4.3 oPerating voltage
• Connect the power supply unit to a power point and then connect it to the
power supply socket 8.
5 initial oPeration
—> A DHCP server must be activated in your network (normally inte-
grated in the router and active). The DHCP server must not be deac-
tivated, so that an IP address can be assigned to the DSI 400.
• Switch on the DSI 400 by the power switch 9, which is located at the rear
side.
The DSI 400 logs in to the network and obtains an IP address from the
DHCP server (LAN operating indicator ! blinks).
Once the connection is established, the LAN operating indicator lights per-
manently.
The DSI 400 is ready for operation and must now even be configurated
(only at initial operation).
