      If your Haier Air Conditioner doesn't start, first ensure it's fully plugged into the outlet. Check your house's fuse or circuit breaker and replace the fuse or reset the breaker if needed. After a power failure, the unit will restart with the last settings, but there's a 3-minute delay to protect the compressor. Also, check the current interrupter device and press the RESET button on the power cord plug. If the RESET button doesn't stay engaged, stop using the air conditioner and contact a qualified technician.

      If your Haier Air Conditioner isn't cooling properly, ensure that curtains, blinds, or furniture aren't blocking the front of the unit. Adjust the temperature control to a higher setting. Clean the air filter at least every 30 days. Allow time for the room to cool down when first turning on the air conditioner. Check for open furnace registers and cold air returns. If the cooling coils have iced up, refer to the section on 'Air conditioner freezing up'.
