" (756mm) pushrod wire a
minimum of 10 turns.
Step 5
Remove the covering on the fuselage to expose the
end of the pushrod tube. Slide the pushrod into the
pre-installed pushrod tube inside the fuselage.
Note: It may be difficult to locate the
pushrod tube. Slide the pushrod wire from
the inside of the fuselage and note where the
covering is displaced to locate the tube.
Step 6
Remove the back plate from a control horn using
side cutters or a sharp hobby knife. Position the
control horn on the rudder so the horn aligns
with the hinge line. Mark the position for the
mounting holes using a felt-tipped pen.
Step 7
Drill three 3/32" (2.5mm) holes through the rudder
at the locations marked in the previous step. Place
2–3 drops of thin CA into the hole to harden the
wood. Repeat this for each of the three holes.
