Why is there water downstream of my HANKISON Dehumidifier?
    • C
      Calvin ClarkAug 12, 2025
If there's water downstream of your HANKISON Dehumidifier, it could be due to several reasons. Residual free moisture might be lingering in the pipelines, in which case you should blow out the system with dry air. The air bypass system might be open, so check the valve positions. Ensure the inlet and outlet connections are correctly connected. Air lines downstream could be exposed to temperatures below the dew point, so insulate or heat trace them, or use dry air to lower the dew point. Also, excessive free moisture could be at the dryer inlet, so install a separator ahead of the dryer. Finally, the condensate may not be draining, the dryer might be overloaded, or the refrigeration system may not be functioning correctly.

What causes high pressure drop across HANKISON Dehumidifier?
    • M
      Michael WestAug 16, 2025
A high pressure drop across your HANKISON Dehumidifier can occur if the air flow is excessive; check the flow rate. It could also be due to freezing of moisture in the evaporator because of a refrigeration system fault, or the filter might be loaded with solid particulates, requiring you to replace the filter element.

If the power on light is off on your HANKISON Dehumidifier, first check for power to the dryer, as there may be a power failure or open circuit. Also, verify the current command status, as the compressor may be commanded off by a manual switch or programmed schedule.

Why is my HANKISON HPRP 1000 Dehumidifier showing a high temperature?
    • J
      Jennifer NelsonAug 27, 2025
A high temperature on your HANKISON Dehumidifier, also observed as a high reading on the temperature indicator, may be due to an elapsed service interval, so perform the scheduled service. It may also be caused by the hot gas bypass valve requiring adjustment, so contact a qualified technician or the manufacturer’s service department. Finally, it may be caused by low refrigerant.
