Setting the suction force
Suction force control unit

The On/Off foot switch (1) dually
serves as a suction force control
unit.
• Rotate the On/Off foot
switch (1)
– clockwise to increase suc-
tion.
– anti-clockwise to decrease
suction.
Air by-pass vent
(26)
You can adjust the suction force
as needed by using the air by-
pass vent (26). The covering of
the air by-pass vent can be ad-
justed as desired.
Should you accidentally
allow the vacuum cleaner
to come into contact with
an object, opening the air by-pass
vent immediately reduces the
suction force. This remedial
action may prevent such items
from being drawn into the dustbin.
