The appliance comes with various
nozzles designed for a range of
uses. Where required, before or
during vacuuming, each nozzle
can be attached to the tube han-
dle of the suction hose (15) or the
telescopic tube (16).

You will work with the floor noz-
zle (17) most of the time as it is
designed for large, flat surfaces.
The best vacuuming results are
achieved when you adapt the ap-
pliance to the floor surface using
the foot selector switch (21).
• Move the foot selector switch
to position for short pile
or smooth floors such as nee-
dle felt, PVC, parquet or tiles.
• Move the foot selector switch
to position
for high pile
carpets.
The foot selector switch can
also be readjusted during
operation.
Depending on the floor covering
and degree of dirtiness, you can
adjust the suction force using the
suction force control unit (2) (see
section “Setting the suction force”
on page EN-19).
