Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not nec-
essarily mean there is a defect in the appliance. For this reason, please
check the tables to see if you can correct the malfunction.

■ Never attempt to repair the appliance yourself. You can put
your own and future users’ lives in danger. Only authorised
specialists are allowed to carry out this repair work.

Appliance is
not working.
On/Off foot
switch (9) does
not actuate.
Switch the appliance on.
Mains plug (13) is
loose.
Check that the mains plug is
firmly inserted into the socket.
The socket is
defective.
Try the appliance with a
different socket.
Check fuses and/or circuit
breakers.
Mains cord is
defective.
Check mains cord for
damage. Contact our service
centre when necessary (see
page EN-31).
