4. Pull the motor protection fil-
ter (29) up and out of the hold-
er (30).

5. Wash the motor protection fil-
ter (29) under running water.
Should the motor protection
filter be damaged or can no
longer be sufficiently cleaned,
it must be replaced with a new
one.
6. Let the motor protection fil-
ter dry completely.
7. Push the motor protection filter
back into the holder (30). The
motor protection filter’s black
side points forwards.
8. Insert the dust bag as de-
scribed in section “Changing
the dust bag” on page EN-22.
Clean or replace the motor
protection filter every time
you change the dust bag.
