Figure: Adjustment nuts at top of column.
The safety latch adjustment is used to ensure the hoist sits level when safety latches are
engaged. Extra adjustment can be obtained by trimming he bottom end of the safety
latch bar.
The cable adjustment is used to adjust the lifting of the hoist, this will ensure that safety
latches engage together.
With the pump assembly connected the hoist will be able to be raised by pressing the
and lowered per operating instructions in this manual.
The adjustment of the cable can be set by lifting the hoist and measuring the beams at
each corner and adjusting until they beams are within 10mm of each other. The safety
latches should engage at a similar time when raising, this is identified by a definite
clicking sound when listening to a specific column. The most important measure is that
all the safety latches engage when the hoist is lowered after being raised.
The height of the engaged beams at each corner is adjusted to within 10mm at each
point when at rest on the safety locks.
The two adjustments are related, the most important measurement is that the safety
Latches all engage which lowered after lifting.
