Programmed Device Functions
OncetheAVR525'sremotehasbeenprogrammedfor
thecodesofotherdevices,presstheappropriateInput
Selector_ tochangetheremotefromcontrolling
theAVR 525 to controllingtheadditionalprodud,
Whenyoupressanyoneoftheselectors,itwillbriefly
flashinredtoindicatethatyouhavechangedthedevice
beingcontrolled
WhenoperatingadeviceotherthantheAVR525, the
controlsmaynotcorrespondexactlytothefunction
printedontheremoleorbullon Somecommands,
suchasthevolumecontrol,arethesameastheyare
withtheAVR525 Otherbullonswillchangetheir
functionsothattheycorrespondto a secondarylabel
ontheremoteForexample,theSleepandSurround
modeselectorbullonsalsofunctionastheChannelUp
andChannelDownbuttonswhenoperatingmostTV
sets,VCRsorcableboxes]he ChannelUp/Down

withanyofthedevicescontrolledby theremoteFor
example,sincetheAVR525 willlikelybeusedasthe
soundsystemfor]V viewing,youmaywishto have
theAVR525'svolumeactivated,althoughtheremote
issetto runthe]V EithertheAVR525 orTVvolume
controlmaybeassociatedwithanyof theremote's
