5.0 MAINTENANCE
5.1 Frequency of Propylene Glycol
Solution Changes
The frequency of required propylene glycol
solution changes varies according to the
condition of the glycol solution at your
individual environment.
5.2 pH level check and Testing
Ensure the pH level is within the allowable
range of 7 to 10 using a pH test strip. If pH
level is outside this range change the glycol
solution. If pH level is below 7 a line flush
should also be performed.
5.3 Propylene Glycol Percentage
Adjustment
If glycol solution percentage requires
adjustment it may be necessary to
remove some glycol solution from the
system to prevent overfilling. See DRAIN
RESERVOIR, in section 5.4 of manual.
5.3.1 If Glycol percentage needs to be
increased contact Haskris for an
approved Glycol and vendor list.
5.3.2 If Glycol percentage needs to be
decreased, add distilled potable water.
See FILL RESERVIOR, section 2.10 in
manual
5.3.3 After adjustments are made,
recheck the pH and glycol percentage as
outlined in 5.2 and 5.3.
