AUTOFOCUS
Autofocus is activated by pressing the shutter release to the
half-press position or by pressing the AF-D button.
The operative range is from EV 1 to EV 19 at ISO 100.
Focus is determined by maximizing the contrast within the
central marked area.
Alternatively, an attached ash unit that has a similar facility (a
Nikon SB 600, for example) can also be used. This feature can
be altered in settings.
AF Assist Light
AF Assist Light (A) is automatically activated if selected. The
operative distance is approximately up to 4 metres from the
camera.
