Useunleadedpetrolsuitableforautomotiveuse(85
pumpoctaneminimum).
Incertainconditions,petrolisextremely
ammableandhighlyexplosive.Areor
explosionfrompetrolcanburnyouandothers
andcandamageproperty.
•Fillthefueltankoutdoorsinanopenarea
whentheengineiscold.Wipeupanypetrol
thatspills.
•Donotllthefueltankcompletelyfull.Add
petroltothefueltankuntilthelevelis1/4to
1/2inch(6to13mm)belowthebottomof
thellerneck.Thisemptyspaceinthetank
allowsthepetroltoexpand.
•Neversmokewhenhandlingpetrol,andstay
awayfromanopenameorwhereaspark
mayignitethepetrolfumes.
•Storepetrolinanapprovedcontainerand
keepitoutofthereachofchildren.
•Neverbuymorethana30-daysupplyof
petrol.
•Alwaysplacepetrolcontainersonthe
groundawayfromyourvehiclebeforelling.
•Donotllpetrolcontainersinsideavehicle
oronatruckortrailerbedbecauseinterior
carpetsorplastictruckbedlinersmay
insulatethecontainerandslowthelossof
anystaticcharge.
•Whenpractical,removeequipmentfromthe
truckortrailerandrefueltheequipment
withitswheelsontheground.
•Ifthisisnotpossible,refuelsuchequipment
onatruckortrailerfromaportable
container,notfromapetroldispenser
nozzle.
•Ifyoumustuseapetroldispenser,keepthe
nozzleincontactwiththerimofthefuel
tankorcontaineropeningatalltimesuntil
fuelingiscomplete.
UsingStabilizer/Conditioner
Useafuelstabilizer/conditionerinthetractorto
providethefollowingbenets:
•Itkeepspetrolfreshduringstorageforupto90
days.Forlongerstorage,drainthefueltank.
